DUO FARINALDI was formed in 2017 by pianist Paolo Rinaldi and soprano Farah Ghadiali who met while studying for the PGAD (Post graduate Artist Degree) programme at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London. The Russian composer Nikita Koshkin (born 1956) is a major figure in the modern classical guitar world, both as a highly accomplished performer and a prolific composer of works. His writing draws from a vast bedrock of influences - from Stravinsky and Prokofiev to rock music. The PGS dedicates this concert to him in recognition of his enormous contribution to the repertoire, and will feature a small, yet diverse, selection of his works.
