Shwetant Kumar is a composer, musicologist and multi-instrumentalist. He graduated magna cum laude from Berklee College of Music, with a double major in Film Scoring and Electronic Production and Design. He is also a longtime student of the eminent Boston-based composer Alla Elana Cohen. Apart from his film and classical compositions, Kumar has been the archivist for the late Indian composer Vanraj Bhatia since 2016, and is currently writing and researching a book on Bhatia’s life and work. In his spare time, he moonlights as a session musician, a synthesiser programmer, and the bassist of the power trio Agla Station: Dadar.
