Meagan Pandian plays the piano, violin and harp. She began her piano studies with her aunt, Regina D’Souza. Under the tutelage of Mrs.Blossom Mendonca she passed the DipABRSM and LTCL examinations. On winning The Young Musician of the Year 2014, an award granted by the Olga and Jules Craen Foundation (OJCF), she attended the l'Académie Internationale d'Eté de Nice, France and performed at various venues across India. As a violinist, she has played with both Indian and international orchestras. Meagan is the first Indian to play the pedal harp professionally. In two years of learning the instrument, she has completed the Grade 7 pedal harp exam with ABRSM with distinction, an orchestral performance with Bohuslav Martinû Philharmonic (Czech Republic), one recital at NCPA, performed in all the major cities of India and abroad in Sri Lanka, Dubai, Singapore and Bangladesh, collaborated with maestro A.R.Rahman, Pritam, Arijit Singh, Vijay TV, Zee Yuva and MTV Unplugged. As part of the 'Bringing the harp to India' vision, Meagan started the ‘Harp India’ project on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube as well as giving lecture-recitals at the Homeless Street Children’s Project, YMCA outreach for the underprivileged children in Mumbai, Christ University, The Bangalore School of Music, The Octavium Music Academy in Bangalore and The Wandering Artist in Chennai.
