Maria Forsström

Maria Forsström studied church music, piano, conducting and Early Music in Stockholm, London and St. Petersburg, after which she realised singing was her true vocation. She has performed with orchestras such as L’Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and Musica Aeterna, Perm, Russia. This Autumn sees her Swedish opera debut with the Malmö Opera in Donizetti’s ”Lucrezia Borgia”. www.mariaforsstrom.se
