# Madras Musical Association at Vienna – A glimpse through our journey

### The Madras Musical Association choir, along with the Coimbatore Chamber Chorale performed four shows in Vienna, between the 8th and 17th of June 2016\. Here’s a glimpse of the Choir’s journey:

#### The poster of the Choir’s first show at Vienna. The show happened on June 8th, at the Wiener Konzerthaus (The Vienna Concert House), at 7.30pm:

#### The 45 member choir comprising The MMA and The Coimbatore Chamber Chorale, performed Bruckner’s three motets – Ave Maria, Graduale and Os Justi:

#### A few of the members from the Choir paid a visit to Mozart’s grave and sang his composition – Ave Verum Corpus:

#### Rehearsals for “Requiem”- Verdi, took place at the Nepomuk Church, Nestroyplatz and the 45 member choir was joined by the University of Vienna Choir & Orchestra:

#### The choir was conducted by Maestro Vijay Upadhyaya:

#### There were posters all over the city of the concert, that was to take place between the 13th and 15th of June:

#### The Choir performed Verdi’s “Messa da Requiem” on the 13th and 14th of June, at the Nepomuk Church, Nestroyplatz in Vienna:
