Switzerland’s oldest orchestra, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra has gained international standing that extends far beyond its home territory. Hailed for the natural ease of his conducting and the compelling insight of his musicianship, James Gaffigan continues to attract international attention and is one of the most outstanding American conductors working today. The Guardian refers to Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvilli as being “justifiably hailed as one of the great pianists of the future.” On their tour to Mumbai, the LSO, Gaffigan and Buniatishvilli will perform works by Weber, Grieg, Beethoven, and Dvořák
