“The Earth has Music for those who listen” – upholding this belief, Euphony Centre of Performing Arts (ECPA) celebrates, applauds and reveres magnanimous Mother Earth. An absolute treat for music lovers, this one of its kind concert has the budding musicians from ECPA perform popular chartbuster covers and an original composition. Each performance brings out the essence that “We Are Because The Earth Is”. Behold an “all live” performance by music students of varying age groups – yes, they’ve got the young children and the adults jigging together 😊
Students use their music literacy to rearrange popular songs with their own inputs bringing their music sensibilities into it. The budding musicians from ECPA have been rehearsing committedly to put up a splendid show. The students have been given a fantastic opportunity by ECPA to create music and showcase their talent via this concert.
ECPA was founded in Navi Mumbai in 2009, as a holistic shrine of music learning. The primary focus of this music school is to develop music literacy and train its students in Western Music, be it Classical, Rock or Pop. Training faculties include the Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Guitar, Drums and Vocals – all in the Western music genre. The music literacy curriculum is on the guidelines prescribed by the Trinity Guildhall School of Music, London. The school has two learning centres – at Seawoods, Navi Mumbai and Deonar, Mumbai.
ECPA also conducts an in house developed musical intelligence module titled Tathastu – early ears live. This module exclusively caters to the toddlers.
This May, ECPA is holding workshops for Drums, Guitar and Western Vocals for beginners at their Seawoods and Deonar centres.
The “Earth Day” concert is a unique concept and precisely timed – on the eve of the International Earth Day. Through music, all are urged to judiciously enjoy the privileges we have, consciously replenish and leave a legacy to cherish – the absolute need of the hour!
